The Adventure Has Begun

This is the home page for our blog. It will be updated every now and then, but mostly it will have where we are currently and where we are headed next.

I will write my Blog on "Kim's Blog" (yes, very original I know - I probably need to work on something more creative)! Jami has his own page, Jami's Corner, that he will post his thoughts on every now and then. Photos will be on the Galleries page. We take smaller walk around cameras with us all the time, but we will go out with our big cameras every so often.

We are currently in Longon, England and will be here until March 1 when we go to Ireland.

Meet Jami & Kim

We are a newly retired couple who love travel and photography. We are sharing our life with you while we go on our Excellent Adventure of traveling the world! We will begin our travels Mid-February, so stay tuned.

We'd love for you to follow along with us! We will be sharing our stories and photographs we capture along the way. We want this space to be fun and also a way from family and friends back home to follow along.

Hopefully I figure this blog thing out along the way :)

Our Travel Plans

Our 2026 Adventure plans will take us to many different European countries. You can look forward to seeing our adventures in: England, Ireland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Scotland, Germany, Belgium and more!

We thought it would be fun to make predictions of what we think our three favorite experiences are going to be this year and then see at the end of the year if we were right or something totally unexpected captured our hearts.

Jami's list:

1. Sitting on the balcony watching the fireworks on Bastille Day (my birthday) while drinking a glass of wine in Bordeaux
